For the first time, the Whistler Summer Concert Series will include Sunday Sessions: a municipal initiative to unite prolific touring acts with talented local musicians for afternoon performances on two long weekends.

On Aug. 4, Whistlerites Taylor James and Ryan Harris will kick off the inaugural Session followed by headliners Gone Gone Beyond (whose music has been described as "mesmerizing future folk" by critics) and Juno nominee Bahamas (a.k.a. Afie Jurvanen).

Sea to Sky locals Little Biggs Band, JennaMae and The Groove Section and Cat Madden will roll in on Sept. 1 to open the show for Kim Churchill, who has toured internationally at major festivals like Glastonbury, WOMAD and SXSW.

In case you missed it, Walk Off The Earth will kickstart the 2024 Summer Concert Series on Canada Day. More information is available at the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) website.
