Advance polls open in Whistler today until Monday

Whistler voters can vote in advance polls from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 13.

From today until Monday, Whistler voters can vote in advance polls from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Polls are open at the Fairmont Chateau in the Upper Village and the Athletes' Centre in Cheakamus—find your polling station at elections.ca.

Voters are asked to bring their voter information cards, along with accepted ID, to make the voting process easier.

Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is not required, but voters must wear a mask.

Voters are also asked to bring their own pen or pencil to mark their ballot, though single-use pencils will also be available.

On the ballot in the Sea to Sky are incumbent Patrick Weiler (Liberals); former MP John Weston (Conservative); Avi Lewis (NDP), Mike Simpson (Green Party); Doug Bebb (PPC), Gordon Jeffrey (Rhino Party) and independents Terry Grimwood and Chris MacGregor.

Voting on election day, Monday, Sept. 20, will take place at the Whistler Conference Centre.
