Heads up, swim fans: the pool area at the Meadow Park Sports Centre is now closed for annual maintenance until Thursday, Sept. 28.
You can still get a skate or a workout in, but you better be quick: the rest of the facility will close for a week and a half of maintenance on Saturday, Aug. 26.
That means from Aug. 26 until Sept. 5, the entirety of the Meadow Park Sports Centre will be closed to the public.
This includes:
- Pool facilities (lap pool, kids pool, hot tub, steamroom, sauna and change rooms)
- Fitness facilities (weight room, cardio room, stretching room, fitness studio and boxing studio)
- Skating rink
- Squash and basketball courts
- All lobby areas and amenities (no access to washrooms, concession or vending machines)
"Thank you for your understanding as we strive to create a safer and more efficient place for our community to play," the Resort Municipality of Whistler said on its website.
