Pemberton residents eager for access to their MLA, Jeremy Valeriote, have a golden opportunity this Thursday.

On July 3, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., the Pemberton & District Public Library (PDPL) will open its doors for a drop‑in "Meet Your MLA" event in the library lounge—no registration required. Valeriote, first elected in October 2024 as MLA for the West Vancouver–Sea to Sky riding, will be available to answer questions and listen to his constituents' concerns.

The MLA is the first BC Green Party candidate elected on the B.C. mainland. He became the interim leader of the Green Party following the resignation of Sonia Furstenau earlier this year and he'll remain leader until a leadership election is held.

Check out the PDPL's website for more information and to add the event to your calendar.
