Update: Most routes are running again as of 7:10 p.m., BC Transit said in a tweet.

"All routes are open except Route 21 in Whistler and 100 in Pemberton," the tweet said. "Route 21 will be going down to Function Junction Turnaround and head North to the Village. Please use the Highway bus stop to get off closer to Spring Creek. We apologize for the inconvenience!"

Add it to the list of 2022 holiday travel disruptions.

Due to "extremely dangerous driving conditions," all Whistler transit routes are suspended "until further notice," BC Transit said in a customer advisory this morning.

By many accounts, road conditions in Whistler are not great this Boxing Day, with localized flooding in several areas and a travel advisory in effect north of Pemberton.

The forecast in Whistler calls for light showers and a high of 5 C today, before the rain turns to snow this evening.
