Updated: Man wanted by Squamish RCMP arrested without incident

RCMP said that several agencies across Canada, including the Coquitlam RCMP, Ontario Police Service, and Ontario R.O.P.E Squad, were involved and assisted in the coordinated operation to get the man into custody. 

Update: On Nov. 3, a man wanted on arrest warrants of out B.C. and Ontario was located and arrested without incident.

On Aug. 30, 2023, the Sea to Sky RCMP (Squamish) requested the public's assistance in locating the Squamish man. 

Identifying features in the original story and his image has been removed as a result of the arrest.

RCMP said that several agencies across Canada, including the Coquitlam RCMP, Ontario Police Service, and Ontario R.O.P.E Squad, were involved and assisted in the coordinated operation to get the man into custody.

Sea to Sky RCMP Squamish are asking the public for help finding 36-year-old man police say is wanted on four unendorsed warrants. 

An unendorsed warrant "has not been signed by a Justice of the Peace, indicating to the police that the person arrested is to be held for court," according to the BC Legal Dictionary.

Squamish RCMP say the man is wanted for a break and enter with intent, assault, criminal harassment and breach of a release order. 

RCMP say the man s considered dangerous and should not be approached.
