The wait is finally over: Whistler Blackcomb's new-and-improved Creekside Zone opened to the public on June 10.
The mountain operator marked the occasion with a kickoff event at the Creekside Base on June 10, featuring big giveaways (including a Whistler Mountain Bike Park pass), live music and even an afterparty.
The newly opened terrain constitutes about 11 kilometres of fresh trails, according to Whistler Blackcomb. The bike park's Garbanzo Zone is also open as of June 10, as is summer sightseeing.
