Red Bull Joyride has been moved to Sunday, Aug. 17 for a 10 a.m. start.
As a slopestyle event, Joyride is particularly susceptible to inclement weather. The 2023 competition was delayed approximately three hours due to unfavourable winds, and substantial rain in the forecast due to an atmospheric river caused organizers to reschedule this year's program.
Due also to weather-related schedule shuffling, the RockShox Canadian Open Downhill Group A finals are now set to occur on Saturday, Aug. 16 with the broadcast kicking off at 3 p.m. local time.
