Ethan Wood recently added two more medals to his trophy case.

The Pembertonian clinched silver during a Coupe du Quebec cross-country short track (XCC) event in Sherbrooke, Que. Only the victorious Emilien Belzile managed to beat him in the men's junior expert H division, while Nicolas Gauthier earned bronze.

In the cross-country Olympic (XCO) discipline on the Canada Cup circuit, Wood rode to third among juniors behind Belzille (who struck gold again) and Tristan Taillefer in runner-up position.

Wood splits his time between cross-country mountain biking and the rare, gruelling hybrid sport of cyclocross.
