This year's Canadian snowboard team has officially been announced, and a number of Sea to Sky athletes made the cut.

Three-time Olympic bronze medallist and 24-time X Games medallist Mark McMorris is unsurprisingly part of the slopestyle/big air unit once more, as is Jasmine Baird who represented Canada at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. Joining them are fellow locals Truth Smith, who won the Grind in April, and Juliette Pelchat, who placed second.

Hannah Turkington, meanwhile, is back on the NextGen boardercross squad after participating at last year's Youth Olympics in South Korea.

Bell has also entered the fold as a partner of Canada Snowboard, to be present at all FIS World Cups on home snow.

"This partnership is a game-changer for our sport,” said Dustin Heise, CEO of Canada Snowboard, in a press release. "With Bell’s support, we can amplify the reach of snowboarding across Canada, inspire youth to engage with the sport, and continue providing our elite athletes with the world-class platforms they deserve."
