Jesse Melamed's three-year win streak came to an end at this year's Canadian Open Enduro, but Elliot Jamieson seized the chance to grab his inaugural Crankworx Whistler elite medal: and it was gold.
Meanwhile, Elly Hoskin moved into elite from the U21 division and smoothly returned to doing what she does best: winning. Other local favourites had their share of the limelight too, as Wei Tien Ho and Andréane Lanthier Nadeau clinched silver among elite men and women respectively.
Nicolas Brochet repeated as U21 men's champ, and Hannah Gillcrist filled the U21 ladies' void left by Hoskin.
