Jordy Scott did what she was favoured to do: win the elite women's bracket and thus secure her inaugural Queen of Crankworx throne. Dante Silva's path to gold was more adventurous, but he ultimately rose up for his first career triumph in Whistler. Local fans buoyed Tegan Cruz to his maiden bronze on home turf with their cheers and support.
