Ethan Wood won three medals at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

It was a successful journey to St. John's, N.L. for Ethan Wood, who landed on the podium at each of his three Canada Summer Games events.

The Pembertonian's first bronze medal came on Aug. 20 in the men's cross-country race (1:31:05.00), where only the victorious Soren Weselake (1:30:55.00) and runner-up Mika Comaniuk (1:31:05.00) got to the finish line faster than him.

"What a way to the start off [the 2025 Canada Games]!" said Wood on his Instagram account. "Stoked on an awesome battle and to come away with the bronze for [Team BC]."

Two days later, Wood united with his fellow British Columbians Maddox Johnson and Rhett Bates to net silver in the mountain biking relay (36:23.670) Team Quebec scored gold (36:06.890) and Ontario clocked in for bronze (37:38.610).

Wood finished third again on Aug. 24, this time in an apparent dead heat with Weselake. Comaniuk prevailed and Raphael Piche took second.
