Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating after a cyclist was injured in Lower Gibsons on Wednesday morning. A press release from the police said the incident involves a garbage truck.

Gibsons & District Volunteer Fire Department assistant fire chief Richard White said they were called to Burns Road around 10 a.m. The volunteer firefighters arrived just behind an ambulance, and found a 94-year-old man lying on the ground in critical condition.
