To combat COVID-19, the Sea to Sky Gondola is making masks a requirement in some areas of the tourist attraction.

As of Sept. 4, visitors must wear non-medical masks or face coverings in common areas such as the buildings, lift lines, gondola cabins, summit lodge, suspension bridge and backyard plaza.

There are some exceptions to the rule.

Coverings aren’t necessary when seated at a restaurant table, or when walking or hiking on the trails in a physically distant manner.

For those who don’t have masks, they’re being sold at the gift shop at the base of the gondola.
