Laval Rocket winless in last four after losing to undefeated Utica Comets

UTICA, N.Y. — The Utica Comets maintained their perfect record in the American Hockey League with a 4-2 victory over the Laval Rocket Sunday. The Comets improved to 7-0-0 to remain the only undefeated team in the AHL.

Wingers Jesper Boqvist and Graeme Clarke had a goal and an assist apiece, while Chase De Leo pitched in with two helpers.

Laurent Dauphin, on the power play, and Jesse Ylonen found the back of the net for the Rocket (4-5-1), which are winless in four contests. Cole Caufield had an assist for Laval.

Nico Daws (30 saves) outduelled Michael McNiven (23 saves).
