QMJHL roundup: Disciplined Olympiques roll past visiting Remparts 3-1

GATINEAU, Que. — The Gatineau Olympiques scored a goal in each period and played solid defence in a 3-1 victory over the visiting Quebec Remparts in one of five Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games on Sunday.

Cristiano Spadafora, Zachary Dean and Isaac Belliveau scored for the Olympiques (1-1-2). Nathan Gaucher scored for the Remparts (3-1).

Gatineau outshot Quebec 26-23.

TITAN 5 WILDCATS 3

Noah Ryan scored twice for Acadie-Bathurst as the Titan improved to 1-1-1. Alexis Daniel, Preston Lounsbury and Miles Mueller scored for host Moncton (1-1) at the Avenir Centre.

The Titan outshot the Wildcats 41-38.

ARMADA 5 OCEANIC 2

Jonathan Fauchon scored twice and added two assists as Blainville-Boisbriand (3-1) knocked off the host Rimouski Oceanic.

Alexis Gendron also scored twice for the Armada and Zach Biggar added a single.

Luka Verreault and Shawn Pearson scored for Rimouski (0-4), who were outshot 31-27.

VOLTIGEURS 6 SAGUENEENS 2

Luke Woodworth had a goal and assist and Drummondville scored five goals in the second period to trip host Chicoutimi, Que.

Simon-Pier Brunet, Simon Hughes, Mikael Diotte, Jeremy Lapointe and Tristan Roy also scored for the Voltigeurs (2-2).

Maxim Masse and Fabrice Fortin scored for the Sagueneens (0-4).

TIGRES 4 DRAKKAR 1

Baie-Comeau scored the game's first goal, but that was their highlight for the day as Victoriaville stormed back with four straight to win at home.

Tommy Cormier, Justin Larose, Justin Gendron and Maxime Pellerin scored for the Tigres (1-2), while Felix Gagnon had the lone Drakkar (3-1) goal.
