TORONTO — Police say a man has serious injuries after a shooting inside a karaoke bar in the north end of Toronto.
Toronto police say they responded to reports of a shooting just after 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Victoria Park and Sparks Avenues in the North York area.
Officers say they found a man in his 20s who had been shot.
The man was then transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Police say the suspect involved in the shooting left the scene before police arrived and that it appears there is no threat to public safety at this time.
Police are in the early stages of an investigation and ask anyone with information to contact them.
