Traffic on Highway 99 is flowing once more after an accident near Lions Bay closed the roadway in both directions on Saturday, July 9. The head-on collision was reported just before 10:30 a.m.
The accident occurred in the northbound lane south of Loggers Creek. It was cleared just before 2:30 p.m. DriveBC is telling drivers to expect delays due to congestion.
Four people were taken to hospital, one by air ambulance, according to BC Ambulance. Their condition is not known at this time.
