BALSAM STREET DAYCARE A fun, creative, active and positive atmosphere! Run by a stay-at-home mother of an 18-month-old boy, with a small home daycare. There’s a play/craft area, stroller, wagon, sled and large yard area for playing.

What: WHISTLER BLACKCOMB The ski season is here! Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are officially open and ready for your carving pleasure. Whistler, Excalibur and Creekside Gondola are expected to be open this weekend, as is the Wizard Chair.

Meetings

What: FOODSAFE LEVEL 1 A mandatory eight-hour course for anyone who wants to handle food and make money doing it. That includes cooks, servers and dishwashers. Focus will be on food contamination and potentially hazardous foods. Cost $99.
