OUR LADY OF THE MOUNTAINS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH>> Mass at Our Lady of the Mountains is on Sat. at 5 p.m. and Sun at 9 a.m. Weekdays – Tues. at 8 a.m. and Wed. at 7 p.m. The church is located at 6299 Lorimer Rd.

HEALTH BABY/CHILD HEALTH CLINICS>> Free routine Immunizations and newly licensed vaccines for purchase, growth and development assessments and plenty of age appropriate resources available. Time: Mon. 1 to 3 p.m. and Thurs. 9 to 11 a.m.

EDUCATION THE ALTA LAKE SCHOOL>> A non-profit independent school which follows a Waldorf curriculum from Pre-school to Grade 5.

SERVICES COATS FOR KIDS>> Winter coats for children of all ages can be dropped off at Dual Mountain Drycleaners, both locations, at Market Pavilion and Function Junction. Coats are accessed by anyone in need through the Re-use It Centre.

BLACKCOMB>> Blackcomb is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the Snowphone at 604-932-4211 for conditions. The mountain closes for the season on Sun. April 25 so get out there while you can! WHISTLER>> Whistler is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

MEETINGS COUNCIL>> The next regular council meeting will take place on Mon. April 19 at 6:30 p.m. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. there will be an open house on the Five-Year Financial Plan.
