Kögler Fund growing In the memory of Karen Kögler, who died in an ice climbing incident near Lake Louise in January, a small fund has been created to annually support one deserving girl through a year of Guiding in Whistler.

The Whistler Angling Club is requesting that participants in the 1998 Whistler Area Fishing Survey turn in their log books. The club decided to conduct this survey last year when it was discovered that due to budget constraints no one at B.C.

A provincial grant of more than $2,500 will enable the Dandelion Day Care Society to build a higher fence to keep bears at bay. The funds will be put towards a new fence. Currently, the infant playground fence is three-feet high.
