By Amy Fendley Dollar value, snow conditions and a great reputation — the top three reasons why January business in Whistler has surpassed last year’s records and exceeded all expectations. Business is booming and hotels are reaping the rewards.

There may be a more uniform look to maintenance throughout the village this year as the municipality takes over maintenance of Village North.

Bring your Valentine to the Sweetheart Tea. On Sunday, Feb. 14 the Senior Whistler Children’s Chorus will host an afternoon tea as a fund-raiser for the chorus’ planned trip to choral workshops at Magic Music Days in California in May.
