Scott Tibballs

Scott is a reporter with a passion for covering all levels of politics, having darkened the office doorsteps of mayors, ministers and more. Since 2014 he has covered local, provincial and federal elections across Victoria state, Queensland and British Columbia. He has a Master of Journalism from the University of Melbourne, and an undergraduate arts degree majoring in politics from La Trobe University.

An Australian by birth, Scott moved to Canada in 2018, became a citizen in 2023 and considers the mountains to be his home. In summer he’s attached to his mountain bike or finding his way uphill on foot, while in winter he’s a keen downhill skier.
