CHILLIWACK, B.C. — Two fathers have filed an injunction application demanding the British Columbia government implement tougher safety measures aimed at protecting students from the risks of COVID-19 before schools reopen.

School District No. 46 (SD46) is expanding its options for students this fall in response to parents grappling with B.C.’s provincially-mandated back-to-school plan.

Across the province school districts are expected to comply with guidelines laid out by the Ministry of Education and BC Centre for Disease Control. Coast Reporter spoke with School District No.
