The stages and tents scattered throughout the village have been disassembled, and finally, its time to rest after yet another fun-filled installment of the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival.

While people are catching up on their sleep, a few of the favourite local bars and clubs are taking full advantage of the lull, shutting down to do some minor renovations and grab some shuteye.

Tommy Africa's will be closed for cleaning and renovations, to be reopened on Friday, May 22.

Maxx Fish has also already closed up shop, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 12 - just before the May long weekend - with a performance by none other than Mat the Alien.

And while Dusty's normally closes for spring around the same time that the Creekside Gondola stops running, this year Dusty's is staying open straight through the spring months, so loyal patrons can still get their fill of trademarked Caesers with beef jerky and wedges with a side of butt rub mayo on their sunny, Creekside patio.
