In response to mounting economic difficulties, Dreamcatcher Meadows founders Jill Giese and John Dingle have set up a non-profit called the Dreammaster Foundation. Now they'd like to properly introduce the Sea to Sky to said nonprofit with a Benefit Bash.

The Bash, which runs on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., will feature meals catered by Whistler's Collective Kitchen, dancing, live music by Ivy Kettlewell and Annika & The Earthlings, comedy from The Comedy Department and performances by local equestrians Ariel and Archer Girodo.

Giese hopes that the Benefit Bash can help people of all demographics (especially young adults) socialize and connect with one another.

The event page says: "We’re thrilled to invite you to celebrate the launch of the Dreammaster Foundation, a local non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing animals from across British Columbia and providing them with forever homes at Pemberton’s Dreamcatcher Meadows Farm. Join us in making a positive impact for animals in our community! Together, we can create a brighter future for animals in need."

Tickets cost $150 for adults and $50 for children, with various camping options also available. Click here for more details.
