This year more than 50 submission from around the world were received. From those, the screening committee chose 11 independent short films. Those films will play in the Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Experimental categories. A panel of judges will be awarding certificates to the winning films.

There will be filmmakers in attendance who will speak about the making of their films and some will bring their actors along. One of our featured speakers is Peter Chrzanowski writer, producer and director of The Good Life. Chrzanowski is an adventurer specializing in high adrenaline action/adventure documentary films, dramas and photo-journalism.

The other speaker is Stephen Cosmic writer, director and producer of The Antiques Toadshow . Cosmic has a background as a writer, inventor, bushpilot, hypnotherapist, stand up comic and actor.

This event will be hosted by former resident and lawyer Mark McConchie, who is now a full time actor living in Vancouver.

"We hope everyone comes out and takes in the festival, and enjoys the many styles and flavours of different film mediums from around the world," says Adriane Polo the festival director and founder.
