The Richmond Public Library (RPL) is celebrating B.C.’s 22nd Family Literacy Day this week.

According to Stephanie Vokey, spokesperson for RPL, this year’s theme is “travel the world together” and the library is encouraging readers to use their imagination to explore the world.

To celebrate the day, an online program will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 27.

Parents and families can expect stories, songs and activities that are suitable for even preschool-aged children.
