Another Canada Day is upon us, and Whistler has a packed schedule of events to keep the fun going all day tomorrow, July 1.
It all kicks off with yoga in Mountain Square and a pancake breakfast at Olympic Plaza, both at 8 a.m.
Kids can get their faces painted for free at the Olympic Plaza playground from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fan-favourite Whistler Village Canada Day Parade gets rolling at noon, winding its way from Olympic Plaza to Mountain Square.
Kids participating in Pique's annual Pedal Parade can meet at Blackcomb Way at 11 a.m. for sign-in and bike decorating.
"Watch floats, community groups, costumed stiltwalkers, a marching Afro Samba Troupe, vibrant dancers and drummers from Ache Brasil, giant birds,and creative characters as this vibrant Parade spreads cheer and festivities throughout Whistler Village," reads the Resort Municipality of Whistler's parade description.
Residents and guests are invited to take in performances from the likes of Japanese drumming group Chibi Taiko and Afro-Brazilian dance troupe Ache Brasil, while the Lil'wat Nation's Tanina Williams will lead cultural storytelling from 1 to 4 p.m. at Village Common.
It all wraps with the kick-off to the Whistler Summer Concert Series in Olympic Plaza, with Bahamas and DJ Soul Club.
