Here's where to find the cheapest gas in Burnaby

Eight Burnaby outlets are currently offering fuel for less than $2 per litre.

It appears gas prices in Burnaby are still on the weekly decline with some back below $2 per litre.

The biggest drop was seven cents from last Friday, May 3, and commuters will find that number at the current cheapest fuel station in the city.

The Smart Gas stop on Canada Way is offering $1.94 per litre, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).

That's also the second lowest price for gas in all of Metro Vancouver behind the Canco on Fraser Highway through Surrey, which dipped five cents to $1.93 per litre.

As of this publication, May 10, there are eight known Burnaby outlets with fuel priced less than $2 per litre.

As a result, the city's average has decreased by five cents to $1.99 per litre from $2.04.

The second biggest dip appears to be six cents at Super Save Gas on 6th Street to $1.96 per litre from $2.02.

Meanwhile, Quesnel currently hosts B.C.'s least expensive price for gas at $1.60 per litre at the city's Super Save Gas (914 Front St.).

The province's top 10 cheapest gas stations range from $1.60 to $1.69 per litre in the north-central and Okanagan regions.
