Updated: Missing Pemberton man found safe

The man, 47, was reported missing Thursday morning with his dog in the area of Pemberton Farm Road East

Update: Police have confirmed a Pemberton man who was reported missing on July 14 has been found safe, along with his dog. To respect the man's privacy, the original story has been stripped of its identifiers and the photo has been changed.

Pemberton police are asking for the public's help locating a missing man last seen in the area this morning, according to a release. 

The 47-year-old man was reportedly last seen with his dog at approximately 7:30 a.m. in the area of Pemberton Farm Road East.  

"Police are very concerned for [the man's] health and well-being," Pemberton RCMP said in the release. 

He is described as a Caucasian male, bald, standing 6-foot (1.82-metre) tall, and weighing 250 pounds (113 kilograms). Mounties said he was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, with blue shorts, and, possibly, reflective overalls. 

Police described the man's dog as a small white and tan "husky-type" breed.
