Getting around should prove to be convenient this BC Day long weekend thanks to free transit courtesy of BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW).
From Aug. 2 to 4, local bus riders will not be charged. These services are part of the Whistler Transportation Action Plan free summer weekend and statutory holiday program, funded by revenues from Day Lots 1-5.
The free Lost Lake Park and Rainbow Park shuttles will also operate, leaving from Post no. 4 at the Gondola Transit Exchange. Buses will run on weekend service timetables on holiday Monday, with members of the public encouraged to consult the Rider’s Guide for details.
