Whistler RCMP is asking anyone who was in the Cowboy Ridge area, south of Whistler, on Saturday, Jan. 9, to contact them following an avalanche.
The Size 3 slide happened at around 3:15 p.m. and both Whistler RCMP and Whistler Search and Rescue are responding.
"Lots of resources activated and number accounted for but ensuring we have all parties who were in that area identified," RCMP said in a Twitter post.
Anyone who was—or is still—in the area is asked to call Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.
