Whistler's Ski Callaghan offering free trail access for kids this spring break

Kids 12 and under can access cross-country ski and snowshoe trails for free in Whistler's Callaghan Valley during their 2022 spring break.

Looking for some affordable outdoor activities to keep your kids busy this spring break? 

Ski Callaghan has you covered. 

On weekdays beginning this Monday, March 14, kids aged 12 or younger are invited to access the Callaghan Valley's cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails for free until Friday, March 25.

All kids must be accompanied on the trails by an adult guardian. The offer is only redeemable in-person on the day of, and cannot be booked online. Equipment rentals are available at Whistler Olympic Park’s Day Lodge and at Callaghan Country’s Alexander Falls Touring Centre, but are not included in the promotion. 

The offer is a joint initiative from Whistler Olympic Park and its adjacent Nordic ski area, Callaghan Country. The 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue features more than 120 kilometre of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails that wind through old-growth forests and meadows. 

Also over March break, visitors to Whistler Olympic Park will be treated to some elite ski jumping, Nordic combined and cross country skiing action when athletes descend on the legacy venue to compete in both the FIS Continental Cup Ski Jumping Women / Continental Cup Nordic Combined Men (scheduled for March 17 to 19) and the Canadian National XC Championships & US Super Tour Finals (set for March 20 to 27). 

Spectator access to these events is included with a park day ticket or season pass.
