It's back to the drawing board for Canada's alpine ski speedsters as they failed to break into the men's top 20 last Saturday.

Brodie Seger was the only Canuck who finished the World Cup super-G race in Beaver Creek, Colo., tying for 21st alongside Germany's Romed Baumann.

Marco Odermatt, the reigning Olympic gold medallist in giant slalom, was victorious again (1:09.41). Joining him on the podium were runner-up Cyprien Sarrazin (1:09.59) and Austrian Lukas Feurstein (1:09.88) in third place.

"Thank you [Birds of Prey World Cup]!", wrote Seger on Instagram, referring to the memorably-named annual event in Beaver Creek. "First World Cup top 10 [on Friday] and a solid super-G result [on Saturday]. Nice way to start the season with a PB!"
