Mack Manietta posts fastest overall time at 2025 BC Downhill Provincials

Young Sea to Sky talent was on display this past weekend at the BC Provincial Downhill Championships in Big White. 

Mack Manietta rocketed to the event's fastest time: three minutes and 5.251 seconds. Xavier Harrisson did well to finish second behind his fellow U15 rider (3:09.007) and Owen White battled through a crash to secure third place (3:23.608). 

Xavier's older brother, Sebastien, struck gold among U17 expert boys and nearly equalled Manietta's performance (3:05.893). Travis Goller went home with silver (3:11.304) and bronze landed around the neck of Nate Kirby (3:11.902). 

"Super happy to take the win at Big White. Second fastest time of the day, 0.642 off the fastest time set by [Mack]," remarked Sebastien on his Instagram account. "Huge congrats to [Travis] and [Nate]." 

Arleigh Kemp led a local sweep of the U17 sport/expert girls division (3:31.345), edging out Stevie Smith Memorial Award recipient Ruby Wells (3:31.665) and perennial contender Cami Bragg (3:35.739). 

Lauren Rosser triumphed in the elite women's category (3:37.177) and Bergen O'Neill earned top spot for elite men (3:06.797).
