An internationally recognized naturopathic physician is visiting Whistler this weekend.
Dr. Peter Bennet, of Langley, has over 15 years of experience treating patients using therapies and treatments that have been clinically proven and are backed by scientific research.
He is the author of the LA-Times best-seller, “7-Day Detox Miracle,” and is a board-certified acupuncturist and homeopath specializing in orthomolecular detoxification and immune dysfunction.
His website states that he “uses hydrotherapy, diet, nutrition, herbal extracts, homeopathy, physical medicine and intravenous nutritional medicines to help patients with acute and chronic health problems.”
Bennet also writes for magazines, often lectures for the public and health care professionals, and has been a guest expert on national television shows.
He will be speaking on the issue of clinical nutrition and strategies for optimum health at the Summit Lodge on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. Admission is $5.
Cheryl Massey, an independent associate with USANA Health Sciences, will join Bennet to introduce a line of nutritional supplements and personal care products.
