Nick Williams prevails in 32k discipline at Whistler Half-Marathon

The 2025 Whistler Half-Marathon is in the books, and perhaps the most eye-catching results unfolded in the 32-kilometre event.

Vancouver's Nick Williams finished in two hours, 13 minutes and 35 seconds to win the race, but a pair of ladies from the same age 30-39 division joined him on the overall podium. Sarah James of North Vancouver placed second (2:19:40) and a Pembertonian, Claire Dewar, reached the line in third (2:21:42). 

Here are the top three contenders from each of the other disciplines:

Half-marathon

  1. Max King, Bend, Oregon (1:17:15, Men's 40-49)
  2. Dex Koeleman, Chilliwack, B.C. (1:23:17, Men's 30-39)
  3. Jeff Poskin, Black Diamond, Washington (1:24:17, Men's 30-39)

10K 

  1. Nick Walker, Victoria, B.C. (37:52, Men's 40-49)
  2. Scott Nicol, Squamish, B.C. (38:48, Men's 30-39)
  3. Liam McNolty, Pemberton, B.C. (41:12, Men's U20)

5K

  1. Dominik Gray, Abbotsford, B.C. (17:43, Men's U20)
  2. Toby Spencer, Hillarys, Washington (17:46, Men's 20-29)
  3. Lincoln Gray, Abbotsford, B.C. (18:02, Men's U20)
