Phat Wednesday gets technical

53 riders take part

The Phat Wednesday Series continued on Aug. 23 with a field of 53 riders taking their chances on Joyride, one of the more challenging riders in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

Still, riders were up for the challenge and some of the fastest posted lightning quick times well under three minutes.

Nick Geddes won the Nintendo DS game system; Graeme Tod-Tims won the Sram X9 drive train; Mathieu Hebert, Jay Marron and Justin Dale won Garbanzo Bike and Bean gift certificates, and Emilie Andet won the Camelback.
