The Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) is back for another round of public summer bobsleigh.

Residents of Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton will be able to experience the action at a discounted rate of 50 per cent off this weekend, June 22 and 23. Youth slide free when accompanied by a paying adult.

During the rest of the season, June 28 to Sept. 1, adolescents aged 12 to 18 can get their taste of one of the fastest Olympic sports at half price with adult accompaniment. Sightseeing and spectating is free.

After an orientation that includes an exclusive track walk, guests will ride in a wheeled bobsleigh as a trained pilot navigates corners at speeds of up to 90 kilometres/hour.

More information is available at the WSC website.
