The Whistler Athletes' Centre in Cheakamus Crossing will soon play host to a local favourite once again.
From June 20 to 22, young athletes from across the Sea to Sky and beyond are expected to take part in the Whistler Summer Classic presented by Whistler Gymnastics. Doors will open each day at 7:45 a.m., and competitors from various age and skill groups will be on hand to showcase their abilities in front of fans.
An outdoor barbecue and beer garden will also be available, serving hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie patties and beverages from Whistler Brewing Company and Geo Cider. For lighter fare, drop by the concession stand to grab coffee, tea, a cold drink or a baked good.
A press release notes: "The Whistler Summer Classic is more than just a competition—it's a celebration of community, athleticism, and summer fun in the heart of the Sea to Sky corridor."
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and kids aged 6 to 17, and $25 for a family of five. Click here for more details.
