Whistler Bantam girls hockey team goes penalty-free to win trip to Vancouver

Close to 50 skiers took part in the annual Masters Recreational Race Series on Sunday, Feb. 6, with races in both the sport and race categories taking their turns on the giant slalom course on Ross’s Gold.

It’s a small circuit, two loops of trail adding up to just 1.3 kilometres, but cross-country skiers are enjoying their new home outside the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain.

There was another solid turnout for the athlete-judged King of the Rails, which took place under the light at the base of Blackcomb on Saturday, Jan. 29.
