Just in time for the long weekend, a rainfall warning is in effect for Squamish and Howe Sound.
Environment Canada says spurts of heavy rain are expected.
"A moist Pacific frontal system will approach the south coast on Friday bringing heavy rain to the North Shore and Howe Sound regions," reads the alert.
"The heavy rain will begin early Friday morning and continue through Friday night. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 70 millimetres are expected by Saturday morning."
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
