PHILADELPHIA — Cam Atkinson scored 45 seconds into overtime and Carter Hart made 33 saves to lift the Philadelphia Flyers to a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night. Kevin Hayes also scored for the Flyers.

CAPE BRETON, N.B. — Emile Hegarty-Aubin scored the game-winner in overtime to lift the Cape Breton Eagles to a 4-3 victory over the Moncton Wildcats in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday.

SARNIA, Ont. — Nolan DeGurse scored the game-winning goal and Benjamin Gaudreau made 36 saves as the Sarnia Sting upset the London Knights 4-2 in the Ontario Hockey League on Tuesday.

Getting a hockey team home is half the battle in B.C. as mudslides, floods and collapsing highways have stranded several.

TORONTO — Forward Kyle Clifford was acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs in a trade with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday in exchange for future considerations. Clifford played two games with St. Louis this season, registering one assist.
