I am a very long-term customer (from the 1970s) and would like to encourage [Vail Resorts] to proactively manage the safety of guests and staff riding the company’s enclosed gondola systems this winter.
You have announced plans to use these systems at full capacity so please make sure everyone riding the gondola is fully vaccinated or recently tested.
Both Grouse and Sunshine resorts, which have long gondola rides like Whistler Blackcomb (WB), have taken this extra prudential step.
This could become the industry norm in British Columbia.
No one wants anything to shorten the ski season again this year—even worse if it is only WB shut down!
