Looking for access to the best views of Pemberton’s beautiful backcountry? Hint: You’ll need a horse to get there!

Copper Cayuse Outfitters (CCO) offers horseback riding tours and experiences that go beyond the beaten path and throughout some of the most breathtaking remote landscapes of the Sea-to-Sky Corridor.

CCO has over 35 herd working trained cayuse horses that hail from Mt Currie or the Lil’wat Nation, where they spent their early years running free and learning the ways of the B.C. wilderness. These top quality horses are custom matched to each rider and the tours are guided by highly experienced wranglers.

In addition to hourly rides in the Pemberton Valley and day tours in the Birkenhead backcountry, CCO offers a range of horseback experiences, including overnight expeditions into the wilderness areas of Tenquille Lake, gold mine trips to the Historic Li-lik-hel Gold Mine and wellness-focused retreats. And, with exclusive access to the historic territory of the original occupants of the land–the N’Quatqua and Lil’wat First Nations, CCO’s equestrian adventures are rooted in respect for Indigenous culture and heritage.

Whistler Bungee

Bungee jumping is one of the most extreme outdoor activities you can try — and the adrenaline rush from taking the plunge leaves you with a sense of achievement and pride like no other.

If this is the summer you finally face your fears and check bungee jumping off your bucket list, why not do it in one of the most scenic locations in the world? At Whistler Bungee, you’ll jump from the edge of a bridge 160 feet above the Cheakamus River, surrounded by old-growth forest and with views of Black Tusk in the distance.

Some may still think that bungee jumping is only for the most daring and fearless among us, but it’s a safe, rewarding and all-inclusive activity that can be attempted by anyone – from children as young as five (who can jump tandem with their parents) to adults as mature as 90 years old (because if you believe you can do it, you can!)

And after the jump, you’ll still have plenty of time in the day to explore other nearby activities — including a short walk to the stunning Brandywine Falls.

Whistler Bungee operates year-round, in all weather conditions, and is one of the few places in the world where you can bungee jump in the snow.
