The snow on the ground is a fitting welcome to December, and more is on the way. Here is your Pemberton roads and weather outlook for Friday, Dec. 1 and the weekend. Your weather apps will, as always, have updated info.

The mercury will touch 0 C with snowy periods throughout the day. An additional 10 to 20 centimetres could fall overnight as a trough moves into the region.

A wintry mix and highs in the 2 C to 4 C range are expected all weekend, as an atmospheric river is predicted to arrive early next week.

Nesters Market is hosting a Dec. 2 fundraiser in support of the Paguia Portillo family. 22-year-old Josafat Portillo, his two-year-old daughter Natalia, and his brother-in-law James Paguia were killed when their vehicle slid off the road on Nov. 26 and struck a tree near Daisy Lake Dam. 

DriveBC shows no major incidents on the Sea to Sky Highway, but conditions will deteriorate tonight so remain alert
