Spring Creek school could open by January, 2003

The first school bell will not sound at the new Spring Creek elementary school until at least the winter of 2003. Early last year it was anticipated the school could be ready for September 2001.

Galloway named vice principal at Garibaldi Highlands

Gerri Galloway, acting vice principal and administrative assistant at Garibaldi Highlands elementary since January 1997, has been named vice principal of the school effective Aug. 1. Galloway has 26 years of teaching experience in the primary grades.
