Missing hiker found dead in Rubble Creek

A two-day hiking trip into Garibaldi Park ended in tragedy on Monday, when the body of a hiker, who became separated from his group the previous afternoon, was found by searchers in Rubble Creek, about 20 km south of Whistler.

Snowboarder missing on Blackcomb

Helicopters are patrolling Blackcomb Mountain, searching for a snowboarder who went missing four days ago. Ai Ito, 25, was last seen on Thursday, March 20 at approximately 11:30 a.m. on the 7th Heaven chairlift, headed for a solo run.
